Ashley Davis is an Irish-American, who grew up in Kansas, currently living in NY. This young woman will certainly become very well known in the folk & Celtic music communities as her career progresses. Some have called this album Celtic, but it is far more contemporary folk with strong Celtic & Appalachian influences. She wisely puts her incredible voice out front. She does not allow the guitar & piano to get in the way. The CD is relaxing & beautiful.
